Lattelecom Riga Marathon

The Lattetelecom Riga Marathon is an international sporting event held on the streets of Riga. This is an annual marathon run with several stages 42km full marathon, 21km half marathon, 10 km run, 6 km run, and the 4.2km family run. It takes place every year in late spring, and the 2019 event is scheduled for 18-19 May. Latvia is very proud of the scale of this run – the full Lattelecom Riga Marathon distance gathers a record 4200 runners hailing from 78 countries, making it the most diversely attended running event in the Baltics. Running the streets of Riga, with nearly 800 years of history under one’s feet, brings immense aesthetic satisfaction, and is available to anyone interested, at any level of competition across 5 courses.
